Privacy Policy

• When you sign up for our welcome offer: first name, last name, phone number (required), and email address (optional).
• When you place an order: name, email, phone number, pickup time, and order details. Payment card information is collected and processed directly by our payment processor (Stripe) — we never receive or store your full card number on our own systems.
• Automatically: basic technical information (such as browser type and device information) and a functional cookie used to remember that you've already seen our signup popup, so it doesn't show again on return visits.

• To send you your one-time welcome code, by text message and/or email depending on what you provide. See Section 3 below for the consent terms that apply to this.
• To process and fulfill your pickup order, and to send order-related updates.
• To identify and prevent duplicate signups or repeat use of a single-use welcome code.
• To transition your information into a loyalty/rewards program in the future, if and when one is launched. If this happens, we will notify affected customers of any material change in how their information is used.

We use two different types of text messages, with different consent standards:

• Order-status texts (e.g. “your order is ready for pickup”) are informational/transactional messages sent based on your order activity.
• The welcome text is a marketing message. By checking the consent box and providing your phone number, you agree to receive one automated text message from Cluck-A-Doodle-Doo containing your one-time welcome code. This consent is not required as a condition of purchase.
• Message frequency: one text for your welcome code — we do not send recurring or ongoing promotional text messages today. If you place orders, order-status texts will also vary based on your order activity. If this changes and we launch a recurring promotional texting program in the future, we will update this policy and separately confirm consent before sending it to anyone who signed up under this version.
• Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
• Reply HELP for help, or STOP at any time to cancel text messages.
• We do not sell or share your mobile phone number or opt-in data with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Promotional emails (such as your welcome code) include a physical mailing address and a working unsubscribe link in accordance with the CAN-SPAM Act. Opt-out requests are honored promptly.

We share information only with service providers who help us operate our business, including:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Twilio — SMS delivery
• Resend — email delivery
• Supabase — data storage
• Vercel — website hosting
• Cloudflare — domain name service (DNS) and content delivery

These providers may use your information only to perform the services we've asked them to provide. Each also operates under its own privacy policy and terms of service, which govern how it independently handles information in the course of providing its service to us; those policies are available on each provider's own website. We do not sell your personal information.

We retain signup and order information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including potential future loyalty program use, or until you request deletion (see below).

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected individuals as required under Ohio law (ORC 1349.19) and other applicable law.

• Opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP, or by contacting us directly.
• Request deletion of your personal information by contacting us at [email protected].

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
